What are the school hours?
Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Fridays from 8:00-11:00 a.m. Friday afternoons are reserved for parent-lead learning and family time.
How do I enter the facility?
For school tours and other inquiries, visitors may access the building through the administrative office doors on the South side of the building.
When should I begin the application process?
Haltom Christian School accepts student applications year round.
What are the schedule options for tuition payments?
Parents may choose a monthly, biannual, or annual tuition payment plan.
Are students required to wear uniforms?
Yes, there is a uniform dress code. Uniforms may be purchased at any retailer.
What extracurricular activities are offered?
Students participate in a rotating schedule of extracurricular activities including Spanish, music, art, and library. Volunteers may also teach additional extracurricular classes related to curriculum throughout the school year. Students participate in special events and seasonal presentations as well as a regional speech meet competition.
How can I become a member of Parents Making a Difference (PMD)?
Parents and family members of HCS students may sign up as a member of Parents Making a Difference upon enrollment. We strongly encourage parents and student families to be involved in our PMD as serving together in unity strengthens our students' academic and spiritual growth. A $25 donation is submitted per family upon enrollment.
What are the benefits of developing a relationship with Haltom Christian School?
Haltom Christian School is a private school with a homeschool heart. We desire that parents and families be involved in their child's education and lead instruction in their child's academic and spiritual growth. HCS teachers and staff partner with parents as we support each other and educate children together.
Are teachers certified?
All elementary teachers hold a Bachelor's or graduate degree. Most teachers hold a valid state teaching certificate or certification through the Association of Christian Schools International.
Is Haltom Christian School an accredited private school?
Haltom Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is prayerfully considering the pursuit of accreditation.
